Formed in 2006 by Neil West, Pete and Lorna Smith, Block Aid has grown into a successful limited company.
Originally the blocks were used to protect farmland from being accessed by trespassers and preventing thefts of farm machinery.
Block Aid UK Ltd concrete barriers are now used all over the UK and areas of Europe for everything from protecting vacant land and industrial estates, to certified test weights for tail lifts and cranes, right through to holding down marquees and even divers working on under water maintenance exercises.

Elephant Parade - London 2010
The Elephant Parade, London 2010, have sent us a great certificate thanking us for sponsoring this fantastic cause by providing them with enough concrete weights to hold down the 258 elephants for the event, which was a magnificent success and one we're delighted to have been part of.
