Block Aid - Test & Ballast Weights
Block Aid UK Ltd test weights can be used for all aspects of load testing, from tail lifts to weigh bridges.
Our weights are independently certified to a 2% tolerance.
Each of our blocks have a unique identity number and are galvanised for longevity.
Our test weights can be made to meet your requirements, such as suitability for top lifting, bottom lifting or indeed both. They can be stacked securely when adding additional weight to your test load.
We can produce bespoke sizes to suit your company needs, along with painting them in your company colours.

1 Tonne WeightOur 1000Kg (1 tonne) weight, the dimensions of which are 1170x500x750 with a 420x100x500 forklift/pallet truck pocket at bottom, making this weight incredibly easy to use, transport and store. |
200Kg Bi-Directional Weight
Our 200Kg weight, above, dimensions 360 x 360 x 680mm. Including two eye-bolts to allow it to be used both vertically and horizontally.
Pallet Weights
The above are test weights made for a customer, the larger weight is made to the same size as a pallet which it is on and fixed to. The smaller weights then fitted to the top of larger weight giving you your desired weight for the test.
Below is our 25kg weight, suitable for smaller testing operations as well as weighing down our marquees.

Block aid also supplies concrete weights for all sorts of applications. With regard to HGV trucks some of these are listed below:
- Fuel Trials - truck manufactures use our loaded trailers to show their customers the fuel efficiency of their particular vehicles.
- MOT Testing - we supply loaded trailers for MOT testing. The weights can range from 0880kg up to 27tonne. The blocks can be loaded into any type of trailer. Hire trailers are in stock now , We can tailor our blocks to meet your needs.
- L G V Training - we supply weights that can be loaded in to your vehicles at any time during driver training, Trailers are available for hire/sale any size or style (flat, curtain or box).
- Tail Lifts - can provide test weights, used to test tail lifts on trucks to get a loler98 test certificate, can be made to any size and with an accuracy of accuracy +/- 2%.
Here we show our blocks being used to weight test a spreader beam of 24 tonnes. We can supply the testbed and weights from 0 - 50 tonnes.
The test weights can be lifted from the top or bottom, and there are both rental and buy options so the weights can be supplied in a way to best suit you.
